You Say Goodbye, I Say Yellow
The introduction of Spring means many a thing...spring showers, outdoor music festivals, and of course bright colors. Even though Texas can get hella hot in the spring time (along with the introduction of monsoon-esque type rains) I do love it. I get to break out a whole new section of my wardrobe that doesn't include the color black, and I get to take some risks.
For this outfit, I wore my impulse buy from Old Navy (I know I have problems, but I saw it in stores and I had to have it). This yellow and white striped dress perfectly reflects my sunny mood for the day and is super cute and practical for Texas weather. It's a shift dress and is structured and fitted enough that it can brave the crazy winds that come with the spring time, but is also light enough, so that I can wear it even on the hottest days, and I won't be leaving sweat stains in it. I paired this outfit with some simple, brown, Merona, rope sandals from Target and my rose gold reflective sunnies from Jane.com. The earrings are a steal from my mom's closet, but Baublebar has some very similar earrings, so don't worry, I'll put in a link!
Just remember to take some risks with color this spring!
