Now we all know that blue is my favorite color to rock during the warmer months, but I have a particular love for this beautiful blue jumpsuit I picked up at Anthropologie. The jumpsuit is a beautiful fabric, and also came in a magnificent cerulean color that you see in the pictures. It has a wide v-neck, cutout shoulders, and is very flowy...like very flowy. But, the looseness of the jumpsuit gives you a ton of freedom on styling it, and also makes it easy to change for different situations. In this picture, I was styling it for my dad's 50th birthday picture. So for this, I cinched the waist with a brown rope belt. It gave the outfit some shape to it without compensating the flow of the outfit. In terms of jewelry, I was able to really play up the blue of the suit by incorporating some gold elements. To do this, I paired the suit with some gold bangles, a beautiful statement gold necklace, that incorporates some blue and green, and gold geometric hoop earrings. Finally, I paired everything with my brown wedge sandals.
If I have one complaint about the the jumpsuit, it's that it ran a little big on me, even though I got it in a small. Because of this, if you want to wear it out and about, you will for sure have to tape yourself into it. (You know, to prevent any awk nip-slips.) But besides that, this jumpsuit can be dressed up for special occasions or dressed down for an easy breezy beach look.
*Note: Due to the Jumpsuit being a sale item, i have provided a link to a jumsuit with similar flow and color on anthropologie.
