Spring may be nipping at our heels, but we still like to let black seep into our wardrobe and cover us like a blanket. So whenever my best friend Camille and I found out we were both wearing black On a random thursday, we were quick to get pictures together to commemorate this gloriously fashionable occasion.
Now, we are best friends and have similar tastes in many things (music, Netflix shows, throwing shade at people who annoy us) one of those things isn't style. So although we both chose to rock a monochromatic look, we had different ways of doing it.
For my outfit, I chose to wear a black off the shoulder maxi dress from H&M with slits up the sides of it. It was a very easy thing to slip on and feel stylish in while also staying comfortable. The maxi also had a tie-around belt with it, that helped to give some shape to the dress. I kept the styling very simple and decided to pair it with my Superstar Adidas.
Next to me, Camille rocked her classic hipster grunge look with some black leggings and her Black and white, printed, "Stomp out the patriarchy" t-shirt curtesy of Redbubble. Over that she is wearing a gray cardigan from Zara. TO pull together the whole outfit (and to match her awesome tee) she wears her classic black Doc Martens.
