It's a rare occasion that I ever get the opportunity to dress to impress at Baylor, (more so than my usual "casual" looks) so I definitely took advantage of the fact that I got to be super extra for a step show that was happening at Baylor about a week ago.
Now this outfit probably epitomizes my style whenever it comes to a night out. It pairs a lot of solid basic pieces in my closet with some fun and cool accessories to spice it up. I would easily where this for a date night (hahaha not that this is happening anytime soon) or a girl's night out on the town.
So starting with the basics, I chose to do all black as my base color, so that i could add on statement pieces and not be completely overwhelmed. The black top is actually a black thermal type shirt that I borrowed from my friend, and it worked perfectly with the outfit. On the bottom I have a leather zip up skirt purchased from banana republic a couple of years ago. this skirt is such a classic though, that you wont have any problem finding a look-a-like. For shoes, I wore my knee-high steve maddens (i'm honestly in love with them and would actually marry them). For accessories I chose to wear my gold bib necklace form spain and my fur vest from Francesca's.
