2. Where are you from?
I am from the small town of Beaumont, texas (Texas runs through my veins!).I, however, do not sound texan at all and I blame it on the fact that my mom was born and raised in the bay area of california and my dad has moved around a ton, and also went to university in cali.

5. what is something that you cannot leave the house without?
My headphones! literally i have to have my headphones with me at all times. If i found out that i’ve gone out and that i didn't bring my headphones, I am not a happy camper.
6. Favorite item of makeup?
highlighter! Specifically my nyx illuminate highlighter. It's super pigmented and shows up really nicely in photos.
7. What is your favorite thing in your closet?
my steve madden knee high black suede boots. They are fierce af, and i feel like a boss every tme i wear them.
8. What is your favorite place that you've traveled to?
J'aime paris! It honestly has my heart! I lived there for five months and honestly fell in love with it. I've traveled to many places, but paris is still my favorite by far.
9. What is your favorite alcoholic drink?
rosé all freaking day! I'm a big wine fanatic in general, but give me a nice glass of Rosé, some candles, and a bubble bath...I am set for a good saturday night.
10.What do you do? (Job or student)
I am a Marketing Coordinator for Clothing SHop online. It is a ecommerce site to buy great quality clothing basics at a fair price.
11.Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
I currently have three piercings, one in my right ear and two in my left, and no tattoos. I've actually been entertaining the idea of getting a nose piercing and also getting a tattoo soooooo maybe that'll happen.
12.Have you ever dyed your hair?
Besides the one time in my senior year high school (and part of my freshman year of college...yeah we don't talk about those times) where i had a streak of blond put in my hair...then no. Again i've thought about making my hair some funky awesome color, but it's kind of so unique on its own that i don't think it needs anything else. plus the whole left side of my head is shaved so i think i've got edginess covered.
13.Do you believe in karma?
I do actually. I'm very much a give and it will come back to you (that's just the freaking word of god right there.) So i very much believe in getting back what you put out.
14.Who is your otp (one true pairing)?
For those of you who don't know what an OTp is, it'syour favorite couple, be it fictional or non-fictional. I have so many...like so many, but i would say that my true otp is betty and jughead from riverdale (#bughead for life) or it's Barry Allen and Iris West from The Flash (The Cw show) Because interracial couples on television make my heart happy.

16.How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I have getting ready down to an art for honestly. My hair doesnt take much in the morning, and I rarely wear more than some concealer, eyebrows, and my nyx lipstick in the color budapest. all in all it takes me like 25 minutes max to get ready on a daily basis. sometimes 30 if i decided to put on highlighter or mascara.
17.What is your biggest pet peeve?
people who eat loud or chew with their mouth open. I literally detest it!!!
18.If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
If i could live anywhere in the world, it would be in this small city called éze. it's right next to nice on the mediterranean coast of france, and it's beautiful. like my goal is to be fabulous old woman living in this little french town, chillin' in the mountains and overlooking the mediterranean.
19.As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I defs wanted to be a dancer whenever i grew up. I still do honestly lol! I love dance and i've been doing it for forever, so its defs one of my dreams.
20.Who do you look up to?
Besides my mom, who is Über inspirational to me, I have like two people that I really look up to for different reasons. Yara shahidi and misty copeland. Yara is so inspirational because even though she is like 4 years younger than me, she is so well spoken, and self aware for her age. she carries herself with such poise, and is kind of the definition of black girl magic. I also chose misty because, besides the fact that she is the first black principal dancer and performed as the white swan in swan lake for ABT, her story is amazing. She shows that perserverence is worth it, and that your dream can happen at any time as long s you make it happen.
21.What's your party trick?
I don't really have a party trick lol. I mean I can do a jump split (#drillteamthings) but i rarely break out a jump split. I would say just my dancing in general is a party trick.
22.What's your favorite podcast?
2 Dope queens hands down! I'm obsessed with them and they are so freaking hilarious and so black girl magical. they have me rolling every time i'm walking to class or driving somewhere.
23.What is your nickname?
Literally everyone calls me ari, like since forever. my close frends fondly and jokingly refer to me as queen because an unfortunate incident with a guy at a party sophomore year of college, and my mom calls me lovely.
24.What is the last book that you read?
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
25.What apps do you use for your instagram photo?
I use vsco and adobe photoshop to edit my pictures and i use unum to place some of my photos into the ones i already posted to see how it looks.
26.What is your favorite app?
I mean instagram hands down.
27.What would you tell someone who has just started writing a blog?
It's really hard man, like i'm still learning and no doubt i will be forever, but being a blogger is not easy at all and you will want to give up...multiple times. but don't. keep pushing and keep posting content that you genuinely love.
28.Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself happy, with whatever I am doing at that moment. I tend not to look to much into the future.
29.Are you in a relationship?
Nope I am single.
30.If you could have a dinner party and invite 10 people, who would they be?
If i had a dinner party and could invite anyone i ever wanted, i would invite: Zendaya, yara shahidi, my best friend Camille, beyoncé, misty copeland, lilly singh, kerry washington, gabriel union, ava duvernay, and shonda rhimes (Is that 10???) And of course my mom and my sister. (That's defs more than ten lol)
